"I'm not a Moslem, but I changed my name so it's partly Islamic sounding. I took an African first name because it's cool. The Benz part is 'cause I like expensive cars."

Kwami is still searching for his place in life. He has changed his name several times, usually reflecting whatever his current interests are. His lifelong dream was to be a member of the U.S. bobsled team, but following a serious doughnut binge, his weight soared into the mid-two hundreds, and he has never looked back.

The seventh child out of fourteen, Kwami's hobby is building houses out of popsicle sticks. His favorite popsicle flavor is cool blue passion, and his number one architectural model is post modern log cabinism.

On most Saturday evenings you can find Kwami at the local roller skating rink, making sure that everyone is going the right way. He sort of has a thing about left turns.

When Kwami first started working as a shipping clerk, it was a dream come true. His subsequent years in cubicle isolation have led to a peculiar fear of hand exposure, and now you will not see him without his black gloves, even indoors.

Today Kwami  is indifferent towards his work, and has completely forgotten his bobsledding dream. He hopes to get married some day.

Kwami's Journal

Day One

I can't believe how much junk people order in this place. Today we received three pallets of toner cartridges for printers that we don't even use any more. I'm certain that we'll pay for them and store the whole shipment indefinitely.
